Why pre-sell your course or program

I always say that my way isn't necessarily the right way and one of the things I help with is making sure the way you follow works for you and your business.

So pre-selling isn't going to feel right for everyone. I know it can feel like there's pressure to get the content created after the course/program has sold and worries that something will happen to prevent it, or it will take longer than you think

Which is why when setting up a pre-sale I'm a huge believer in planning in advance so you have plenty of time to create it, you can drip feed the content and be clear that it is a pre-sale in your sales page and copy

Pre-selling you course or program helps you to

1.    Validate your idea before you invest a lot of time and money into creating it.

2.    Generate revenue before you even create the content. That means you can use that money to fund the creation of your course

3.    Build buzz and excitement around your idea. Get people talking about your course before it's even available!

4.    Gain valuable feedback from your customers about what they need and what they expect from your course or program, depending on the format.

5.    Set realistic expectations for your launch. If you have a certain number of pre-sales, you can use that as a benchmark for your launch goals.

6.    Build a community around your idea? Get people excited about what you're doing and create a community, you can even set up a FB group (or alternative community) for them

7.    Build your email list, use your pre-sale to collect email addresses and build a list of people who are interested in your course or program if you create a waitlist

8.    Test different pricing strategies and see what works best for your audience.

9.    Identify potential affiliates or partners who can help you promote your course.

10. Avoid the sunk cost fallacy. If you invest a lot of time and money into creating a course that no one buys, you may feel like you have to keep promoting it even if it's not working. By pre-selling your course, you can avoid this trap and make sure you're creating something that people actually want.

Pre-selling is a method I use all the time and it works very successfully. At the weekend I pre-sold a course on Building a Funnel in Mailerlite and had several sign ups (without the sales page!) which is being developed as a beginner layer in my Feel Good Funnels Academy - click here to grab it for £7.50

I'm also pre-selling the Feel Good Funnels Academy, although there is existing products in there so you can get started straight away. including building your ultimate funnel and creating and launching a signature program. Over the next 12 months I'll be adding approx 10 to 15 different ways you can create different layers of income and opportunities for you to offer the change you create for your clients/customers.

You won't do everything all at once, the idea is you'll build what you need most right now and then have lifetime access to create new sources of income as you move forward (and yes there's support to achieve this because you gain special access to the Visibility Collective too)

The next training I'm creating is Lucious Launch where I'll take you through the steps you need to pre-sell your course or program alongside Revive Your Course which is designed to get a course or program out there which you've not sold in a while.

When you pre-sell you can offer the course or program (or in my case Academy) for a lower price point so it is more attractive, the Academy is currently on sale for 12 payments of £40 or £400 and as more is added will inevitably increase in price. I know the early adopters will gain a much more personalised approach too.

The Academy is available NOW - here's the link
